The Acorn was just named the best vegan eatery in the world

While Vancouver’s strong food-loving community consistently has mad love for our local eateries and bars, it’s always nice to see some outstanding spots get recognized on a national and even international level.

So it’s exciting to see that a Vancouver restaurant was just named the best vegan restaurant in the world.

The Acorn just took the top spot on Big Seven Travel’s list of 50 Best Vegan Restaurants in the World.

The 3995 Main Street restaurant was given a major shout out by the travel publication, which used a social media poll of Big 7 readers (across their 1.5 million community), a panel of food experts, and overall media coverage of the venues to determine the ranking.

The publication said the vegetable-forward restaurant and bar is “inspirational when it comes to their vegan options.”
