And in case you’re wondering what the hottest show of the season is, StubHub has released a preview of the Canadian summer concert landscape, showing the top-selling acts of the season.
According to total sales on StubHub for Canadian tour dates between June 21 and September 2, Queen with Adam Lambert is the hottest summer concert, outselling second place Backstreet Boys by 65%.
Shawn Mendes and Michael Bublé, who ranked 6th and 9th respectively, are the only Canadian performers on the list.
They also just happen to be the most active performers on the list with seven performances each in Canada this summer. Shawn Mendes, however, has sold 46% more tickets.
“With more access to music than ever before, Canadians are blurring generational lines and immersing themselves in the musical talents of today and yesteryear,” said Paul Nowosad, General Manager of StubHub Canada in a statement.
“From the timeless ballads of Queen, to the new-wave superstardom of Billie Eilish and Shawn Mendes, the diverse talent represented on this year’s list are set to elevate the fan experience for concert goers from coast-to-coast.”
