2 teens stabbed in parking lot of Surrey convenience store

Police in Surrey are investigating after two teens were allegedly stabbed in the parking lot of a Surrey convenience store yesterday.

According to police, the incident took place at 11:20 am, when officers were called to the scene in the 4800 block of 108 Avenue, in the Guildford neighbourhood.

Upon their arrival, they found two teen boys, aged 15 and 16, suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The pair were taken to hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP said they are also working to locate another youth who they have identified as a person of interest in the investigation.

“Initial indications is that all three youth involved in this occurrence are known to each other,” said Surrey RCMP in a release.
