Summertime just calls for a drink outdoors.

Whether you’re relaxing on a boat with friends, laying by the beach, or simply just having a backyard barbecue, there’s no greater feeling than sipping on an ice-cold drink while being out in the sun. (We checked.)

But while you might be inclined to go for a cold beer, a refreshing lemonade, or a spiced rum (because you’re a pirate), gin is one of the most popular spirits in the world, and the iconic Tanqueray Gin & Tonic just screams summer to us. I mean, there’s a reason why World Gin Day is smack dab in the middle of summer. (In case you didn’t know, it’s June 8).

There are plenty of reasons why Tanqueray gin should be your new summer drink. It’s sophisticated, it can be garnished with all sorts of fresh fruit and herbs, and well, it just tastes good. And with Tanqueray’s range of light tasting and refreshing variants to choose amongst (from the classic Tanqueray London Dry Gin to the fun and fruity Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla to the exotic Tanqueray Rangpur), your only problem will be choosing one to start with.

Tanqueray

There are plenty of choices

After experimenting with many ingredients and tasting the finest botanicals from around the world, Charles Tanqueray discovered a perfectly balanced recipe that combined a rich, full flavour with a bold, invigorating taste — and Tanqueray gin was born. With such a wide variety, Tanqueray has a full portfolio of different flavours which can be mixed in different ways (other than just with tonic) so everyone can find something they like!

For the perfect patio or dock drink, try out Tanqueray Rangpur, distilled with exotic and rare Indian Rangpur limes. If you’ve never heard of the Rangpur lime before, it looks like a typical lime on the outside but has a juicy inside like an orange. Bright notes of crisp citrus leap out of this variant, leaving a sweet finish.

Try Tanqueray Rangpur topped up with either soda water or tonic water, and garnish with a lime. Or for a sweeter twist, top it with cranberry juice and garnish with a lime!

Tanqueray

It’s refreshing and light tasting

Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is the perfect gin-based spirit for the summer with its refreshing, bittersweet taste. Distilled with bittersweet Sevilla oranges, this gin-based spirit delivers a fruitful and zesty taste, natural flavours, and other fine botanicals. Fruity in flavour, Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla is also a great option for people who are newer to the art of drinking gin of any kind!

Top off Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla with tonic water, or for a more elevated option, create a Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Spritz by topping your glass with Prosecco and soda water, garnished with an orange wheel!

Tanqueray

It’s easy to make

I mean, it’s really the simplest drink in the world to make while still tasting pretty darn sophisticated. You can impress any one of your friends this summer, really, with three simple ingredients: Tanqueray gin, tonic water, and a lime wedge. You could also garnish with your choice of fresh fruits and herbs!

Run out and grab a bottle of Tanqueray London Dry Gin for a classic, rich, full flavoured gin. With four perfectly balanced botanicals since the 1830s, the London Dry Gin features an unmistakably timeless taste that is simple, yet impactful.

Serve Tanqueray London Dry Gin the way generations have been serving it for years — with simplicity and elegance. Top with tonic water and serve with a lime wedge, no questions asked. It’ll be happy hour — every hour.
