Previously, the clostest Swoop customers could get was Hamilton, Ontario — about an hour and a half from Toronto.

Swoop launched its Pearson operations on Sunday, completing flights from Toronto to Jamaica, Kelowna, Edmonton, and Halifax.
“We are excited to be able to bring our ultra-low cost carrier model to Toronto and serve Canada’s largest city,” Charles Duncan, Swoop’s president, said in a news release.
Swoops’ winter schedule includes several Canadian cities (Abbotsford is the closest airport to Vancouver), as well as “sun” destinations in the US and Caribbean.
