Budget airline Swoop has added Toronto’s Pearson International Airport to its list of destination airports, making travel to and from Canada’s biggest city much easier for travellers.
Previously, the clostest Swoop customers could get was Hamilton, Ontario — about an hour and a half from Toronto.

Swoop launched its Pearson operations on Sunday, completing flights from Toronto to Jamaica, Kelowna, Edmonton, and Halifax.
“We are excited to be able to bring our ultra-low cost carrier model to Toronto and serve Canada’s largest city,” Charles Duncan, Swoop’s president, said in a news release.
Swoops’ winter schedule includes several Canadian cities (Abbotsford is the closest airport to Vancouver), as well as “sun” destinations in the US and Caribbean.
