Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is currently investigating the suspicious death of a woman who arrived at a hospital early Wednesday morning with serious injuries.
In a statement, RCMP said they received information from a local hospital at 5:30 am on June 17 regarding a woman in her 30s who was badly injured.
Police say despite receiving medical assistance, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died in hospital.

“At this time the cause of the woman’s injuries is unknown, and her death is being treated as suspicious,” said RCMP in a statement.
Police were conducting an investigation for evidence near the 2700 block of 168 Street, as they received reports the woman could have been in that area Wednesday morning or Tuesday.
