Armed robber steals 'a number' of lottery tickets from Surrey convenience store

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding a suspect, after a recent robbery in the city.

In a release issued on Thursday, police said the incident took place back on February 28, at 3:45 am at a convenience store in the 9900 block of 152 Street.

A man entered the store and pointed a firearm at the clerk, who was the lone employee present at the establishment.

The suspect then “jumped the counter” and stole a number of lottery tickets, before fleeing.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 35 to 40 years old, with a medium build. He is pictured wearing a blue hoodie and white coat at the time of the incident.
