Four staff members of a hotel at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops have tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, the Sun Peaks Grand said the cases have been confirmed in the past two days.
All cases “are related to social interactions outside the workplace and no guests have been impacted at this time,” the statement said.
The affected individuals, as well as their close contacts, are currently in self-isolation.

“The health and safety of our staff, guests, and community is the top priority now and always,” the statement said. “Outdoor recreation at Sun Peaks continues to be considered safe for anyone following public health direction such as physical distancing, wearing a face covering, and staying home when unwell.”
