Subway launches new value menu across Canada with sandwiches under $5
It may be no $5 foot longs, but Subway has just launched a new value menu across Canada today with multiple bites under $5.
Called the Fresh For Less Menu, offerings include a variety of breakfast sandwiches, snacks, lunch, and side options.
Subway shared that this launch comes after its inaugural State of Lunch Report, which it said “found that 85 per cent of employed Canadians say it’s harder to find fresh lunch options at a price they feel comfortable paying, highlighting the growing tension between affordability and quality at lunchtime.”
“The newly launched Fresh For Less Menu gives Canadians greater choice and flexibility, with options under $5 that they can mix and match throughout the day,” said Denny Downie, managing director and head of marketing at Subway Canada.
“Our State of Lunch Report found that lunch is an important part of the workday for Canadians, but rising food costs are making it harder to find the freshness and quality they want at a comfortable price. The Fresh For Less Menu brings those priorities together, without asking Canadians to settle on flavour, quality or variety.”

The full roster on the menu includes its Snackwiches — sandwiches served on a warm ciabatta bread with variety like Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza, Turkey Caesar, Honey Mustard Ham, and more — alongside its Breakfast Ciabatta Sandwiches, sides and snacks such as the Meatball Marinara Protein Cup and the return of its Doritos Nacho Cheese Footlong Nachos, in addition to many more options.
