Steve Nash links up with LeBron James for new gig

Steve Nash is getting back to work with a new gig alongside LeBron James.
The greatest Canadian basketball player has not had much going on publicly since being fired as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets back in 2022, but that is changing. The 51-year-old will be joining forces with LeBron to co-host the popular Mind The Game podcast.
An announcement confirming Nash joining the podcast was made on Instagram this morning.

The podcast was originally launched just over a year ago with LeBron and ex-NBA player J.J. Reddick, who was working for ESPN at the time. However, Reddick left the podcast shortly after being announced as the next coach of LeBron’s Lakers. The last episode of that run was released on June 5, 2024, and it focused on the NBA Finals.
Nash will be bringing a wealth of superstar experience to the podcast to complement LeBron’s legendary status. He is a Hall of Fame player with two MVP titles under his belt and is widely regarded as one of the league’s best point guards of all time.
While Nash spent time with the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Lakers, he couldn’t find a way to make it to the Toronto Raptors, despite wanting to play in Canada.
The new version of the podcast is set to debut on April 1 and will be available on YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and various podcast platforms.
