The Stanley Cup is coming to Coquitlam!

As part of the touring NHL Centennial Fan Arena, the Cup – along with a number of interactive fan experiences – will make a stop at Coquitlam Centre Saturday and Sunday.

It’s all aboard a 53-foot museum truck with an innovative interior, featuring more than 1,000 square feet of interactive digital displays, original video content, historical memorabilia, and unique photo moments. The truck is on a 31-city tour through North America.

A second 53-foot trailer with a giant video screen will feature highlights, all-access programming, as well as a pop-out stage for special appearances.

Canucks alumni will be on hand, as will a pop-up ball hockey rink and a Zamboni virtual reality experience game.

The event is also supporting charitable initiatives, including Recycle the Game and Hockey is for Everyone.

Fans are encouraged to bring ‘gently used’ hockey equipment, which will be up-cycled back into the community. The NHL is also making a $5,000 grant to the local community as part of Hockey is for Everyone – to be invested into Canadian Blind Hockey.
