An area of shops inside Metropolis at Metrotown was closed early Saturday evening following a stabbing incident.
According to police, the area near the Build-a-Bear workshop store was closed after 5 p.m. A 36-year-old male was stabbed just outside the store during the busy Saturday shopping hours.
The man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage.
