Vancity Buzz came to inception in the Vancouver blogosphere in Summer 2008. Since then, VcB has grown exponentially with increased content, solid business relationships, strong social media presence, and expanded readership. We have achieved success by highlighting the greatness in Vancouver: local events, news, small businesses, and models.
Readership/Demographics
Traffic reports indicate page views of 5,000 per day (150,000 per month), as of Feb 7, 2010. Our readership is diverse as indicated by our enormous Twitter following. Our age penetration is 20-35, comprised of University students and young professionals, 80% in Metro Vancouver.

Our social media efforts extend through Twitter and Facebook. Currently, our Twitter following is at 8800+ and our Facebook friends list numbers 1500+. We are heavy influencers in the social media sphere. All posts and contests are exposed through these efforts frequently.
