725 Granville is part of the redevelopment of the former Eatons/Sears building. It offers four floors of office space above Nordstrom’s future Vancouver location, which is scheduled to open in September 2015. Each floor has 17-foot ceilings, slab to slab, and offers 73,000 square foot floor plates, a unique feature not currently available in the downtown core.

Sony Pictures Imageworks will occupy a whole level of office space on the 5th floor of the building.

“We are thrilled to officially open 725 Granville and welcome Sony Pictures Imageworks as the first of our tenants to take possession of this space,” says Tom Knoepfel, Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Cadillac Fairview Western Canada. “725 Granville is a unique facility in the downtown core. It has proven to be an attractive location due to its expansive floor plates and desirable location in the heart of the city. We look forward to welcoming Microsoft and Miller Thomson to their new offices over the course of the next 18 months.”

Microsoft will join Sony Pictures Imageworks at 725 Granville later this year when they move in to their offices on the 6th and 7th floors. Law firm Miller Thomson will take occupancy of 48,000 square feet of office space on the 4th floor in early 2017.
