This weekend, the streets will be flooded with hundreds of glow-in-the-dark bikes (and people!) for Vancouver’s third annual summer bike rave.
After a super successful nighttime bike rave last month, the party starter group VYVE (formerly known as Party4Health) are back with another.
The route will feature portions of Vancouver’s gorgeous Seawall, a bridge, a mysterious tunnel, and then a large mound to dance on top of, according to VYVE “party scientist” Jacques Martiquet.

What makes this bike rave especially unique is that it’s entirely drug and booze-free. The VYVE party scientists will also be releasing a dance mix for everyone to download and synchronize with!
“Bike rave is a unique experience. The dance floor is constantly changing. Everyone’s wearing something funky and colourful. Lights are flashing. Smiles are blooming. All in the name of appreciating our beautiful city and the power of the bicycle,” says Martiquet.
So grab your glow-in-the-dark sticks and bikes and get ready for the ride of your life!
