A giant nighttime Bike Rave is returning to Vancouver this weekend

Jun 19 2019, 10:44 pm

You’ll want to stock up on glow sticks and get your brightest outfit ready for the return of the Vancouver Bike Rave.

After a handful of successful events in 2017 and 2018, VYVE (formerly known as Party4Health) will be taking the bike rave to new heights — literally.

Jacques Martiquet, leader of the VYVE, says that although the starting location will remain a secret (for now), the bike rave will be going across the Lions Gate Bridge.

According to Martiquet, who also calls himself the Chief Party Scientist, this will be the second time the group goes across the bridge.

“By applying party science, we’re going to make this one more exhilarating, safe, and inviting than its predecessors,” he says. “Powered by the human high.”

VYVE, the host organization, strives to create exhilarating social experiences without the use of alcohol or drugs.

The event will take place on Friday, June 21 and will start at 9 pm.

Participation is free, however, participants must register online.

A starting location will be shared 24 hours before the start of the event.
