The blast of winter chill continues in Vancouver to start the week, and that could mean that locals could soon see the white stuff falling from the sky.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) seven-day forecast, there’s a chance of snow flurries happening as early as Tuesday, January 21.
Coupled with lows of up to -3°C later this week, you may want to bundle up when you head outside the next few days.

There is also a risk of freezing drizzle on Tuesday morning with a wind chill that could push the temperature to feel like -6°C, though temperatures will warm up throughout the day to a high of 2°C.
It’s not all doom and gloom in Vancouver’s weather forecast, as sun is expected to return in time for the weekend.
ECCC’s forecast for Metro Vancouver has been changing frequently, with the federal department recently stating that an Arctic airmass could impact the region until January 22.
ECCC isn’t the only one warning the public about the cold. In response to an extreme weather alert, the City of Vancouver is opening additional shelter spaces.
