UPDATED: Major Expo Line service disruptions due to medical emergency

UPDATE at 6 pm: Regular service has resumed.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Royal Oak Station on SkyTrain’s Expo Line is temporarily closed due to a medical emergency.

TransLink says it is now operating a shuttle bus bridge between Edmonds Station and Metrotown Station. As well, all passengers traveling to Production Way-University Station on the Expo Line must transfer at either New Westminster Station or Production Way-University Station.

The incident began shortly after 3 pm this afternoon. There is no indication when regular service will resume.

As can be expected, the Millennium Line and Canada Line are unaffected by the service disruptions.
