The design for this building has been approved by the urban design panel and now has the go ahead for construction. The building will have 18 floors, 17 of which will contain market residential units, the base will have retail at the bottom. It’s located at the abandoned Chrysler location on Main Street, next to the drive thru McDonald’s and Burger King. It will take up the whole site and will have a significant portion dedicated to landscaping.
Although the image above looks kind of iffy, I do admire the developer’s ambition to build something different. It’s as if the top portion is supported by stilts. I’ll have renders up as soon I can get a hold of them.
