Shoppers Drug Mart will be implementing shopping hours specifically for seniors and customers who need assistance or consideration this week, in response to COVID-19.
The first hour of shopping in all stores will be dedicated to the elderly and people living with disabilities, the company said.
During this first hour of shopping, the 20% Seniors Day discount will be offered on regular priced items as well. This will be in addition to Seniors Days on Thursdays.

Further, the store says that it has not changed the prices on essential items, including toilet paper or hand sanitizer.
The company has also moved up the start date of its planned sale on toilet paper.
