Shoppers Drug Mart has announced the launch of home delivery services, meaning that whether it’s over-the-counter meds or potato chips, customers will now be able to get them without leaving their home.

The new service is the result of a partnership between Shoppers Drug Mart and Instacart, an American company specializing in same-day grocery delivery and pick up services, according to a press release.

The service will be offered at 37 retail locations across Vancouver.

“Working with Instacart allows us to serve our customers wherever they need us, whether that’s in a store or delivered right to their door,” said Matt Carr, Shoppers Drug Mart’s vice president of merchandising, in a statement.

In order to access the service, customers can use either the website or the Instacart app on their phone. From there, they simply select the city and store and start shopping. The statement says that an Instacart “personal shopper” will pick, pack, and deliver the order within a designated time frame. Orders can be scheduled for delivery as quickly as an hour or up to five days in advance.

Orders of $35 or more will have a delivery fee of $3.99, although an Instacart Express membership grants unlimited, free deliveries on all orders over $35.

First-time Shoppers Drug Marg Shoppers on Instacart can also use the code INSTADM10 at checkout for $10 off their first order of $35 or more.
