Shizenya on Broadway just reopened after a lengthy renovation

It’s not like we were running out of places to chow down on our favourite Japanese export, but one of our favourite sushi locations is back up and running.

Shizenya on West Broadway officially opened its door today after a lengthy renovation had it closed for several months.

The cozy, 16-seat sushi joint is now open Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 9 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am to 10 pm.

Shizenya also operates two other Vancouver outposts on Hornby and Denman.

This spot is known for its healthy rolls, folks can opt to have almost all of them made with brown rice.
