7-year-old calls 911 to complain about getting snow pants for Christmas
Christmas can be hard when you’re a kid.
There’s all the expectation, waiting, build-up, and — more often than not — let down.
Especially if you’re seven years old and expecting to open something that starts with ‘Playstation’ and ends with ‘4’ but your parents decide to go the more practical route and gift you a pair of snow pants instead.
And while that may be a tough blow to handle on the morning of the 25th, calling 911 to voice your complaints isn’t exactly going to get you the help (or gift) you want. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what a 7-year-old did yesterday when the reality of snow pants as present could offer no solace:

So while we’re guessing this is one kid who’s got a lump of coal in his future, the good news is, if you think getting a gift you don’t like is an emergency you’ve likely got it very good already (expect for possibly being spoiled af).
Let this be a lesson to other Canadian kids, snow pants are not a right — and neither is taking up a 911 operator’s time.
