Have your say on transit changes with new TransLink survey

Dec 20 2017, 1:57 am

Do you want a say in your neighbourhood’s transit system? Well, now’s your chance.

A newly released TransLink survey will allow Metro Vancouver residents to vote on a number of proposed changes to the transit system.

The changes are broken down by neighbourhood on the TransLink website, but are aimed at decreasing travel times, connecting the upcoming Evergreen Expansion, extending service to high traffic areas, and generally making the transit system more efficient.

“As we plan for the future, we need to hear from the people who use our transit services,” Colleen Brennan, TransLink Vice-President of Communications and Customer Experience said in a press release. “No final decisions have been made and we’re listening to our customers so we can take their concerns and feedback into account.”

The survey is open from October 13 until November 6, and details of each of the changes can be found online.
