There’s a ton of bad news out there, but Vancouver’s local food and beverage community is continuing to keep their chins up and spread some deliciousness.

Say Mercy’s Staff Meal initiative first launched last week. The eatery, a part of the Collective Hospitality Team along with The Mackenzie Room, has been putting together ⁣500ml meals ranging from $5 to $10.

These homemade morsels can be purchased to eat right away or to freeze. You can buy them online and pick them up at Say Mercy (4298 Fraser Street).

Orders are accepted daily until 2 pm and can be grabbed at the restaurant between 4:30 and 6:30 pm from Tuesday to Saturday.

Each order placed requires a $2 donation to the Vancouver Food Bank. Please note Say Mercy’s orders will be up and running again on Tuesday, March 24, at 8 am. ⁣

As of this week, the project has grown to include other much-loved local spots such as Dachi, The Arbor, Fable Kitchen, and Belgard Kitchen, who are getting on board with some offerings of their own this week (watch their socials for updates).
