We’re seeing awesome relief initiatives popping up everywhere to help everyday people during the coronavirus pandemic.

One of Vancouver’s favourite local brewers, 33 Acres, has launched a program to give its employees a helping hand during this trying time.

The Mount Pleasant brewery now has an online donation program called “Staff Tips – Gift Certificate” to help all their front of house employees and some of the production staff.

“The hit we take by not being able to sell by the glass product and operate as usual will have devastating affects to our business. What we can do though, is sell gift cards, and give 100% of those sales to our affected staff members,” read the statement.

The gift cards can only be used on 33 Acres’ once the tasting room has reopened, but you can pay it forward with a minimum buy of $5 and rest easy knowing some delicious brews and bites are coming in your future.
