Saladworks Open in Yaletown, Canada's First Location

Long home to world class vegetarian restaurants and healthy lifestyle practitioners, Vancouver is also now home to Canada’s first Saladworks location.

With over 110 locations across 13 States featuring homemade soups, signature dressings, an in-house carvery and catering service—Saladworks is the oldest and largest gourmet made-to-order salad franchise concept in the U.S. and has chosen Yaletown as the site of its Canadian launch. But rest assured, however, that despite its popularity Saladworks supports local! The restaurant works closely the farmers and food producers of British Columbia. Lettuce from Fable Farms and free-run chicken from Rossdown Farms are only a few examples of this commitment.

The first Canadian restaurant offers 11 Classic Signature Greens, Made-to-Order Salads as well as eight choices featuring Flame-Grilled Meats from the carvery station (all topped with your choice of dressings made in-house). Guests can also choose Vancouver-specific creations such as the Maple Glazed Grilled Salmon Salad, Marinated Asian Steak Salad and Tandoori Shrimp Salad. Your next favorite meal could also be one of their Hearty Soups, Sandwiches or Wraps such as our oven-roasted Porchetta or Asian Steak Sandwich

The restaurant offers great value for the entire family. Between May 23-25th, all their Gourmet

Salads topped with signature homemade dressings are only $6.99. The Yaletown location is also where you can enjoy a craft soda from the traditional Boylan soda machine.

Paul adds that he chose Yaletown for the Canadian launch because of the vibrant mix of people in the historic area.

“We can serve the pressed for time office crowd and residents along with anyone wanting to treat their family to a guilt-free, gourmet, fresh meal that is above all delicious and cost-effective,” says Lalli. “Between our Healthy Salads, Hearty Soups, and Gourmet Sandwiches we have something that everyone can enjoy.”

Catering services will be available in early June in time to shakeup drab office lunches and meetings.
