A new spot for Vietnamese eats just opened in downtown Vancouver

A new Vietnamese-Canadian eatery just opened in downtown Vancouver.

Saigon Xua is now operating at 1257 Hamilton Street in Yaletown, the former location of White Lounge, which recently shuttered after opening in Summer 2018.

This spot has a menu full of share plates like fried rice paper spring rolls, black tiger king prawns, satay skewers, and Saigon poutine made from fries, cheese curds, tamarind gravy, spring onion, and sesame seeds.

For mains, guests can expect a selection of Vietnamese pho in varieties like tofu, beef carpaccio, and grilled chicken, along with a variety of noodle and curry dishes too.

With a solid amount of vegan and vegetarian options as well, this menu looks promising and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of this Southeast Asian-inspired grub.
