Rove Concepts and Vessi warehouse sale results in traffic and hours-long waits

The Rove Concepts and Vessi warehouse sale promised major deals on shoes and furniture this weekend, but for many shoppers, it delivered three-hour lines and no guarantee of entry on Saturday.
Marketed as the XROVE Warehouse Sale, the organizers said there would be deals of up to 70 per cent off Vessi products and designer home goods, plus food trucks, live DJs, and same-day pickup.
But according to TikTok and Reddit posts from attendees, the shopping experience quickly turned into a test of patience, with some people waiting over three hours just to get inside.
Others never made it through the doors at all.
“We spent three hours and didn’t even get in”
Zahné Zabierek and her partner, Arek, drove from downtown Vancouver to the event on Saturday morning after registering online.
“We left around 10:20 a.m. and got there just after 12,” Zahné told Daily Hive. “We sat in traffic for almost an hour just trying to get off the highway.”

As they approached the site on foot, they said a family walking the other direction warned them that the line had already been capped, and that attendees still waiting had been there for hours with no guarantee of getting inside.
“There were no signs, no staff, no communication,” Arek said. “We honestly thought the jam was due to construction. We didn’t even know the line had been closed until someone on the street told us.”

Despite the crowd, Zahné said there was no email update sent to registered guests.
“It was a sunny Saturday during fireworks weekend…we could’ve been paddleboarding,” she said. “Instead, we wasted three hours just trying to get there.”
Mixed reactions from attendees
Those who purchased VIP tickets reported faster entry and better access to popular stock. One Reddit user was able to shop easily during the first hour, but later saw the line “snake all the way through the warehouse.”

Feedback on Rove Concepts’ pricing was mixed.
Some said the deals were solid, while others felt the “warehouse sale” label didn’t quite match the ticketed prices.
“Chairs were okay, but dressers were still over $1,000,” one commenter wrote. “Not really worth it unless you were first in.”
In a statement to Daily Hive, a Vessi representative apologized to customers who experienced delays.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the partnership and support from our friends at Rove, they’ve gone above and beyond to help both our team and customers have the best experience possible. The turnout at our warehouse sale far exceeded our expectations, including RSVP numbers and ticket sales and while we’re incredibly grateful to our community for showing up in such strong support, we’re truly sorry to anyone who had a negative experience,” stated Vessi.
“We’re actively working to make it right with as many attendees as possible, and taking what we’ve learned to ensure any future events are smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.”
