A recent Insights West poll shows that incumbent Gregor Robertson is leading the election race, running five points ahead of NPA’s Kirk LaPointe.

Though Robertson’s numbers are promising for the Vision Vancouver team, the poll shows that more than a quarter of Vancouverites are still trying to make up their minds.

The online survey found that 47 per cent of participants held a positive view toward Robertson, 43 per cent favoured Kirk LaPointe, and 33 per cent favoured COPE candidate, Meena Wong.

While 27 per cent of those surveyed say they intend to vote but have not decided which candidate to support, nine per cent say they are decided in voting for Meena Wong, 41 per cent for Kirk LaPointe and 46 per cent for current Mayor Gregor Robertson.

You can view all the results from the Insights West poll online, but we’ve broken down some of the most interesting statistics below.

  • Women love Robertson (53 per cent)
  • Young adults love Robertson too (57 per cent)
  • More men than women are in favourite of LaPointe (46 per cent)
  • Seniors (55+) love LaPointe (53 per cent)
