Watch out, Vancouver… Hermione Lodge might be taking over your favourite restaurant!
Marisol Nichols may play a villain on TV, but you may be surprised to learn that she’s a secret foodie.
The part-time Vancouverite – known for playing the scheming Mama Lodge on Riverdale – prides herself on knowing some of the best places to eat in Vancouver.
Mark these cafés and restaurants on your foodie bucket list – Nichols doesn’t mess around when it comes to good food.
According to Marisol, this is the BEST pizza place in the city. Authentic dough, delicious toppings, and baked to perfection. What more could you want?
Address: 1190 Victoria Drive, Vancouver
Delicious pizza & pasta in the heart of Kits. Everyone that works at this pizzeria comes from Italy, so you know you’re in good hands!
Address: 1835 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver
This Gastown spot serves up Neapolitan pizza that honours 4 generations (!) of Nicli family chefs. Grab a slice (or rather, cut it yourself with scissors), and enjoy!
Address: 62 East Cordova Street, Vancouver
Marisol is “pretty picky” when it comes to good Italian food, so it makes sense that she adores this eatery. It’s the perfect spot for family-style dining (so you can sample a bit of everything!)
Address: 615 Kingsway Vancouver
Serving up (you guessed it) Italian dishes, and some outrageously good steaks. They’re big enough to share… but you probably won’t want to.
Address: 860 Burrard Street, Vancouver
Marisol’s favourite dish here is the Salmon Oshi, which features pressed and flame-seared BC sockeye salmon. She claims she wasn’t even a sushi fan until she came to Vancouver – go try this opinion-changing dish and see what you think!
Address: 70-200 Granville Street, Vancouver
It’s no secret that this Kits café knows how to do pastries. Marisol raves about the croissants, claiming they’re the best ones she tasted outside of Europe. Now that’s high praise!
Address: 2150 Fir Street, Vancouver
This might actually be chocolate heaven. Marisol’s favourite treat here is the Chocolate Sparkle Cookies, which you can order ready-to-eat, or ready-to-bake in your own oven! (You know, so you can trick people into thinking you’re a great baker)
Address: 2539 West Broadway, Vancouver
Address: 998 Harbourside Drive, North Vancouver
Some of the most beautiful (and delicious) chocolate and pastries in the whole city are made here! They’re almost too pretty to eat… but Marisol doesn’t seem to have a problem with eating them, and you shouldn’t either.
Address: 2409 Marine Drive, West Vancouver
