Once again, Richmond will have two night markets and, of course, there is the annual Vancouver Chinatown Night Market. Thus, lower mainlanders have a few options to find that coveted cell phone case. Jokes aside, the night markets are now an annual tradition and one of the great spring/summer events. The Richmond Night Market 2013 opening day is pegged for May 17, 2013.
The market will feature 250 merchandise booths, 80 food vendors serving mouth-watering food and desserts with a different specially featured and priced vendor each night, diverse family-friendly entertainment and more than a thousand nearby parking stalls.
The market will also feature carnival rides and a children’s amusement zone, adding thrills and chills to the nightly experience.
Located near the River Rock Casino, the best mode of transportation for visiting the Richmond Night Market is to take the Canada Line.
