Mushroom Show

What: Discover the fungus among us as the Vancouver Mycological Society presents a show of local autumn fungi. Bring mystery mushrooms for identification. This event is for all ages.

Duty, Honour and Izzat

What: Join the Richmond Museum on the 100-year anniversary of the close of the Great War as they recognize the valiant contributions of the Indian Army to the Allied War effort. An exhibition also runs from November 5 to 15 in the lobby of City Hall.

Empire of the Sun

What: In this acclaimed autobiographical one-man show, Tetsuro Shigematsu (former host of CBC Radio’s The Roundup) tells the dynamic tale of an emotionally distant father, Akira, whose legacy is felt beyond his lifetime.

Richmond Remembrance Day Ceremony

What: The City of Richmond invites the public to observe and participate in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony. Parade will start at 10:20 am, and official ceremonies at the City Hall cenotaph will begin at 10:40 am. Two minutes of silence will take place at 11 am followed by wreath-laying.

Roger Hodgson

What: Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Roger Hodgson brings his legendary voice to River Rock Casino. Hodgson co-founded the iconic rock band Supertramp, and wrote most of the band’s classic hits including “Dreamer,” “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,”,“Take the Long Way Home,” and “It’s Raining Again.”

Walk Richmond – Middle Arm Dyke

What: Follow the Fraser River on this picturesque walk that passes by the Richmond Olympic Oval offering spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains.

Dixon Craft Fair 2018

What: An evening of shopping, eating and merry-making. The annual Dixon Craft Fair features holiday shopping, cake walk, gingerbread house building, face-painting and more. Check out the popular wines-around-the-world auction, exciting raffle prizes, silent auction and 50/50 draw.

Christmas Craft Fair

What: Check out up to 169 vendors with homemade crafts, baking, jewellery, foodie items and more. A great shopping opportunity for unique gifts that takes place in Steveston Community Centre’s Net Shed. A concession stand will be available with yummy treats.

A Day for the Birds

What: Drop-in for a tour of the park’s wildlife garden and learn how to make a bird’s garden habitat with responsible feeding practices. This event is for all ages.
