Nana Mouskouri Forever Young Tour

  • What: Greek singer Nana Mouskouri, one of the best-selling artists of all time, comes to River Rock for her Forever Young Tour. Throughout her career, she has sold 350 million albums, ranking second in best-selling female recording artists of all time. In 2018, Nana will celebrate her 60 years of success in music with the release of her 134th album.

The Pull of the Net: A Multicultural Celebration

Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market

  • What: The Steveston Farmers & Artisans Market is a place for the community to meet farmers and artisans in an open, fresh-air environment. Find fresh locally grown produce, artisan-processed foods, local arts and crafts, music by talented local musicians, ready-to-eat food and refreshments, kids’ craft and activities, and entertainment throughout the season.

BC CacheCon 2018

  • What: A free family fun day for everything geocaching and outdoor exploration related. Run in partnership with British Columbia Geocaching Association and the Metro Vancouver Geocachers. BC CacheCon 2018 is suitable for all ages.

2018 Canadian Sledge Hockey Championships

  • What: This national event is the top domestic tournament for sledge hockey athletes playing at the Provincial or Canadian Development Team level, and this year is the first time the competition is being played on home ice. Four teams – BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec – will be battling it out for gold, in 10 games over 3 days.

17th Annual Grapes, Hops & Bites Festival

  • What: The Rotary Club of Steveston Wine Festival brings the best-of-the-best wine, beer, food and entertainment to say thanks for continued support of Rotary Club’s incredible community. All proceeds go directly to the Steveston Rotary Community Outreach Programs.

London Heritage Farm Mother’s Day Tea

  • What: Celebrate Mother’s Day with high tea in the Tea Room at London Heritage Farm. A popular annual event for mothers, grandmothers, and their families. Richmond Carvers Society Wood Carving Show

  • What: Western Canada’s largest carving show, featuring wildlife competitions, including birds, fish, First Nations carving styles, wood turning, auctions, and raffles. Learn all there is to know about carving and see art created before your eyes as carvers showcase their skills at this free event. Food Bank donations are appreciated.

Screening & Talk with Ho Tam and Kegan McFadden

  • What: Richmond Art Gallery presents a special screening of exhibiting artist Ho Tam’s Confessions of a Salesman and The Visit. Prior to the screening, guest presenter Kegan McFadden, executive director of Open Space Arts Society in Victoria, will focus on Tam’s photo series, Ghost Image, through which the artist collects photographs and documents of his lover Kirby who died of an AIDS-related illness in the mid-90s.

The Royal Canadian Circus
