Remote B.C. island property for sale offers stunning displays of nature

A remote B.C. island property that was listed for sale last month offers stunning experiences thanks to the province’s incredible natural wonders.
What makes the property more appealing is that it’s more affordable than the typical Vancouver home.
The property, which is located at 169 Link Bay Rd. on DeCourcy Island, one of the Southern Gulf Islands, is listed for $1,450,000. It offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a substantial amount of land (around 2.20 acres). The main home offers 1,320 sq. ft. of space.
“Perched majestically over the water, it boasts sweeping views of sunsets and miles of unspoiled natural beauty,” the listing says.
BC Assessment has the property valued at $497,000.
According to the listing from Mark Lester with Colliers, the property is ideal for full-time living or the perfect private getaway. Lester shared some examples of the incredible natural displays viewable from the property, including videos of orcas in the area.
