A home in Surrey has sustained serious damage after an explosion and fire that happened over the weekend.

On Saturday, April 6, the Surrey Fire Department and RCMP responded to reports of an explosion at a residence in the 15200 blocks of 105th Avenue.

Fortunately, the three residents were away at the time of the explosion and no one was injured.
