RCMP seeking man who tried to pull 16-year-old girl into parked car

RCMP are investigating an alleged assault on a 16-year-old girl.

On February 26, 2019, at approximately 9:15 am, a male suspect approached a 16-year-old girl walking in the area of 154 Street and 101A Avenue in Surrey.

The man allegedly grabbed the girl by the arm and attempted to pull her into the direction of a parked vehicle.

Fortunately, the teen was able to break free and escape.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s with tanned skin. He stands at around 6’0″ tall, with a medium build, a shaped jaw, and a pointy nose.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with brownish pants and red shoes.

The vehicle is a small, silver sedan made in the 2000s, possibly a Kia or a Subaru.

Police are asking for anyone who was in the area around 9 to 9:30 am to contact the RCMP.
