It’s been quite a wait for PrivĂ©, but we swear – it was worth it.

Vancouver’s soon-to-be-open 7,000 sq. ft. destination for karaoke, food, drinks, and games, is gearing up to open its doors to the public on September 1.

We got to step into the new spot before it officially opens and checked out what’s in store for folks who head to the #200 1001 W Broadway spot, which happens to be the biggest karaoke spot in town – with one of the largest patios around, too (2,000 sq. ft.)

More than just any old place to belt out your favourite tune, Privé has ten sleek and sexy private karaoke rooms with custom neon signs in every space (AKA perfect for Instagram).

Six of those rooms have private bathrooms attached to them and they fit anywhere from 10 to 30 people, which means parties of any size have ample room to enjoy themselves.

Each room is outfitted with two microphones and a user-friendly tablet on the wall near the TV. The touch-controlled tablet is where patrons control their song selection, volume, make a playlist, and more.

Eventually, Privé will give customers the ability to connect to the tablet with their phone, this convenience will give people even more time to order from the in-room food and beverage menus.

Soon, Privé will have beer pong tables, a dance floor, electronic darts, and a DJ booth along with other arcade games too.

For now, though, folks can enjoy the suntrap of a patio. This space is huge and outfitted with tons of comfy cushioned seats, benches, and couches.

The Privé team knew that all that singing would have its visitors feeling parched and hungry, and the offerings here should have all the bases covered when it comes to food and beverage.
