Well, it’s official.

It’s the moment royal family enthusiasts have been waiting for, and no, sadly it’s not the arrival of the soon-to-be-due royal baby.

Rather, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finally Instagram official.

The couple’s first Instagram post went live a mere five hours ago, and the pair has already racked up an impressive 1 million followers by time of publication.

“Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues,” reads the post.

“We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”

The account launched with a carousel of photos, starting with a photo of their monogram, followed by a series of photos highlighting their work and travels together.

The couple first began dating in Summer 2016 and made their first official public appearance as a couple at the Invictus Games in Toronto, where Markle previously filmed the hit-show Suits.

The pair were married in the spring of 2018 and announced they were expecting their first child together last October.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Baby Sussex will be seventh in line for the throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince Harry.
