H Tasting Lounge has introduced a signature drink just in time for Pride. The Freedom Fizz is $15 and features rum, spiced vanilla syrup, lemon juice, soda, and vegan foamer. A tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York, where this year’s WorldPride festival was held. Available from August 3 to 31, proceeds from drink sales will be donated to the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation.

Chef Masahiro and his team have created a special Pride Roll with snow crab, green bean, corn and edamame on the inside of the roll, plus cracker crumbs, bell pepper, zucchini, purple yam, and sweet soy-braised tofu curd. This unique roll is $19 and $1 from each roll sale will be donated to Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation. This feature will be available from July 29 to August 4.

Juke’s two locations will offer a feature cocktail custom, Inspired by and named after popular Canadian drag queen and friend of Juke’s, the ‘Raye Sunshine’ mingles Cointreau, Odd Society bittersweet vermouth, grapefruit juice, and sparkling wine. The cocktail will be offered for $9 exclusively for Pride weekend with partial proceeds from each cocktail being donated directly to Rainbow Refugee, a local community group that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status.
