There’s going to be an epic all-ages dance party at Lonsdale Quay for Pride tonight

Jul 31 2018, 11:52 pm

Pride at the Pier is coming back to the North Shore for its second straight year.

Thanks to the continued partnership with the City of North Vancouver, an all-ages dance party will be held at the beautiful Shipbuilder’s Square at Lonsdale Quay.

The party will be hosted with the advice of an LGPTQIAS+ youth committee and festival organizers promise a celebration filled with drag, drag, and more drag.

Attendees at the event can take in the beautiful view of the water while jamming out to local queer DJs, watch amazing drag performances, participate in one of the many craft and activity stations, and lounge on the Tap and Barrel patio between sets.

The celebration takes place later this evening from 5 to 10 pm at the Shipbuilder’s Square, located one block away from Lonsdale Quay.

Those attending the event can take the SeaBus from downtown to Lonsdale Quay or take a North Shore bus and get off at Lonsdale Quay. Parking will also be available on Wallace Mews and in the Pinnacle Hotel.
