The 42nd Powell Street Festival returns to downtown Vancouver this weekend.
The annual festival is the largest Japanese Canadian festival in the country and an eclectic celebration of Japanese arts, culture, and heritage.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5 and be spread out between Oppenheimer Park, Firehall Arts Centre, the Japanese Language School, the Vancouver Buddhist Temple, and Centre A.
Visitors to the festival can enjoy live music, sumo wrestling, martial arts demos, anime, Bonsai demos, Taiko drumming, craft vendors, and delicious Japanese food.
There will be 24 food vendors selling delicacies such as ramen, Japnese Chocolate, takoyaki, and Osaka balls, just to name a few of the tasty eats.
