Police surprised to find bear locked in front seat of car (VIDEO)
When it comes to police work, it’s a given that officers should be prepared for anything over the course of their shift.
But sometimes, even the best-trained law enforcement can be taken aback by what they discover.
Take, for example, a recent incident this week in Port Moody.
In a tweet, police shared a video in which they reiterate that they are “frequently reminded that you never know what you are going to encounter over the course of your shift.”
The incident in question? A bear discovered in the front passenger seat of a car with a broken window. “This what awaited our members at a call last night.”
Police shared a video taken by a resident who can be heard asking in the video, “how does this even happen?” He later adds “only in Port Moody.”
Good question.
We are frequently reminded that you never know what you are going to encounter over the course of your shift. This is what awaited our members at a call last night. Thank you to the resident for the video. pic.twitter.com/jsUwAY6PFx
