“Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” Relive a part of the Pokémon phenomenon that swept the world beginning in the late 1990s. Theme music from the Pokémon video games will ring through the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver on July 22.

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions,’ an orchestral symphony featuring the arrangements and carefully timed visuals from recent and classic themes from the Pokémon franchise.

“Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions has become the must-see video game concert of the year, giving fans and newcomers of all ages a chance to experience the evolution of the Pokémon franchise like never before,” reads the event description.

There are 33 cities in the current tour, reaching Canada, the United States, Mexico and Australia. A European tour is planned to begin in spring 2016.

Tickets for the Vancouver performance are going quickly. At this time, more than two-thirds of the 2,700 seats at the Orpheum Theatre have been sold.
