Pizzeria Grano set to open on Vancouver's Main Street in June

Main Street’s newest pizza parlour is opening this month.

Pizzeria Grano took over much-loved local joint Don’t Argue after it closed this past August, and it’s gearing up to open this month at 3240 Main Street.

This project comes to us from the folks behind one of Vancouver’s best pizza spots, Via Tevere, and is set to focus on plant-based Neapolitan pizza.

The Pizzeria Grano team told Daily Hive that in addition to the pies made in a mosaic-tiled Neapolitan duomo oven, patrons can expect fresh salads and a selection of antipasto as well.

When it comes to beverages, Pizzeria Grano will offer local craft beer, a mix of BC and Italian wines, classic Italian cocktails, and kombucha on tap.

In terms of aesthetics, the interior is described as clean and simple with lots of bright, white elements such as stone countertops for traditional pizza-making.

We’ll keep you posted on an exact opening date for this spot; it’s set to open in late June. Stay tuned!
