B.C.'s popular Pig Out Festival is returning with an all-star lineup of chefs

Osoyoos Wine Country’s signature food and wine celebration, Pig Out Festival, is returning this May, and it features a full weekend of culinary events and experiences.
The festivities start on Friday, May 1, with the Pig Out Guest Chef Dinner at Sweetgrass Restaurant at Nk’Mip Cellars. Here, Chef Shawn Cheere will welcome guest chef Javir Blanc of Vancouver’s Casa Molina, alongside Canadian Butcher team member Ronnie Keely and B.C.’s inaugural Best Butcher, Michael Heckon.
Together, they’ll be serving a seasonal, locally sourced, multi-course family-style feast paired with wines from local vineyards. There will also be live cooking and butchery demonstrations along with sweeping vineyard views. Tickets start at $129.99.
Following the dinner, on Saturday, May 2, the Pig Out Festival will be returning with the theme “Let’s Feast.” Here, guests will be able to enjoy unlimited, delicious bites from B.C. chefs and producers, sip local wines, enjoy live music and entertainment, watch BBQ and cooking demonstrations, and shop at the local artisan market, all surrounded by magnificent vineyard views.
