Ten young people are injured with non-life threatening injuries after riding a pickup truck that hit a curb and flipped over.

According to CTV Vancouver, the incident occurred early Saturday morning just after midnight. It was driving near 34 Avenue and 192 Street in sand pits and when it returned to the road the vehicle crashed.

The vehicle had 10 passengers between the ages of 17 to 21. The two individuals in the driver’s and passenger seat were wearing their seat belts, but all eight people in the back of the truck flew out of the vehicle.

They were rushed to hospital and all have since been released, CTV reported. There was a ‘N’ new driver plate on the vehicle; Surrey RCMP say charges will be laid on the driver.
