
Burnaby RCMP are currently on scene of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian today.
According to police, the incident took place near Marine Way and Boundary Road, and the area around the incident is currently closed.

Police tweeted shortly before 1 pm that the vehicle of interest in this incident is described as a semi-truck that was pulling a dark red coloured shipping container.

RCMP said that witnesses have reported that “the driver stopped briefly at the scene and then continued driving eastbound on Marine Way.”
The public is being asked to avoid the area, and more updates are expected this afternoon.
