Vancouver's outdoor "Patiotown" launches in Gastown

Vancouver, hop aboard the one-way train to Patiotown, the city’s largest outdoor patio district.

Located in Gastown, the outdoor patio area is made up of over 20 patios and close to 500 outdoor seats, and it’s now open to the public.

This new initiative brings more outdoor patio seating to Vancouver than ever before as well as bike valet services every Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 pm.

The Gastown BIA announced the launch of Patiotown in addition to The Murals of Gratitude Exhibition, a free, public gallery of the works of art honouring healthcare heroes that opens at Carrall Street and Water Street this week.

“Patiotown and the Murals of gratitude will run throughout the summer, with additional alfresco living, dining, entertainment and art options coming to Gastown’s Maple Tree Square,” read the release.
