Park Royal Aritzia employee tests positive for coronavirus

The Aritzia boutique at West Vancouver’s Park Royal mall underwent a deep clean this week after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

Company spokesperson Mary Fraser told Daily Hive the employee caught the virus outside of work, and had not been in the store for more than a week before receiving their positive test result.

Contact tracing has already been conducted, and it’s not believed there’s a risk of exposure to customers, she added.

“We work closely with local health authorities and we’re taking all necessary precautions to ensure the ongoing safe operations of our boutique, which remains open,” Fraser said.

Vancouver Coastal Health does not list the mall on their list of public coronavirus exposure risks.
